Top chef Alex Guarnaschelli, who’s a Food Network star and the executive chef of the chic Butter restaurant in Midtown Manhattan, just purchased a $3 million Chelsea apartment, according to property records filed with the city in May.

The unit had been listed for a little over a month.

Compass broker Aren Ebrahimi, who co-listed Guarnaschelli’s new pad with fellow Compass brokers Leonard Steinberg and Herve Senequier, says that they first tried to sell it off-market, but there were no takers.

Then they staged the apartment with Jason Saft, of Staged to Sell Home.

“We had it off-market for 30 days and didn’t get a response, and then we staged it, and received multiple bids,” Ebrahimi told Gimme Shelter.

Guarnaschelli’s new two-bedroom, two-bath home is 2,269 square feet. The seller bought it for $983,000 in 2000, according to StreetEasy.

The home opens to a foyer that leads to an open living and dining room and — naturally — a large chef’s kitchen.

The ninth-floor loft also comes with 11-foot-tall beamed ceilings, white oak floors, wall-to-wall windows and room for a home office.

Building amenities include a concierge, on-site parking, a gym, a children’s playroom and a roof deck.
