Draymond Jamal Green Sr. was born on March 4, 1990. Draymond Jamal Green Sr. is a known American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association.

Green had his high school education at Signaw High School in Signaw (Michigan). In high school, Green played for coach Lou Dawkins. When Green was a sophomore in 2005–06, he averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds per game. When he was a junior in 2006–07, he as well averaged 25 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and three steals per game. Green led Saginaw to the Class A State Championship and a 26–1 record.

Then again as a junior in 2010–11, Green averaged 12.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Later when Green became a senior in 2011–12, he captained the Spartans to a regular season Big Ten championship and Big Ten Tournament

In June 2016, Green was called up to the 2016 US Olympic team. Green then helped Team USA to win the gold medal in Rio. In a total of eight games, he averaged 1.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game
