Billy Joel fans are livid after having to shell out $40 for parking at the new Nassau Coliseum Wednesday night for the piano man’s opening concert.

“It’s too expensive,” Fiona Wang told NBC New York. “Come on, you know, I’m just coming for one show. It’s $40?”

Disgruntled fans took to social media to express their frustrations.

Jose Morrell said the Coliseum needs to “bring down the price! You’re just opening up,” NBC reported.

Coliseum reps said the pricey parking is on a sliding scale at the venue, where they can charge anywhere from $5 to $40 for a concert.

They issue 2,000 parking passes for $20 or less online before each event for guests who have the wherewithal to plan ahead.

While parking fees across the city at major venues like Yankee Stadium and Citi Field are normal, critics say there’s hardly any alternative to driving to Nassau Coliseum, lest fans want to walk miles to the concert.
